Bike-Man is a superhero parody starring the titular Bike-Man (respect the hyphen), whose only power is riding a bike. In actuality, he's nobody's favorite Brian Bryant, an ordinary teenager who fronts as a protector of justice in an ordinary world. Things take a turn for the worst when the evil Dr. Carr appears and swears vengeance on Bike-Man. Can a regular human face off against a genuine supervillain?

THE WRITING PROCESS
Introduction
The introduction is incredibly important, as it sets up the fundamental themes and characters to be explored over the course of the story. I needed establish Bike-Man, his world, and his arc.

I had to limit the script length should I ever hope to film it, so everything needed to be established concisely. I opted for a traditional bully to set the scene. It played off the genre well, and introduced Bike-Man's lack of confidence as his alter ego. This pays off later, when Bike-Man saves the day as boring old Brian Bryant. His interaction with the old lady then establishes the town's general disinterest in Bike-Man, to be changed by the end.
